

Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Shettima Kashim have been sworn in as the sixteenth President and vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
They were sworn in by the Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola at the inauguration ceremony being held at Eagle Square, Abuja.
Tinubu took over from immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari who ruled between 2015 to 2023.
Tinubu became the president after beating Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Parties and others in the February 25 presidential election.
