Amaju Pinnick in a recent video calls out singer Davido for refusing to perform at the 19th edition of Warri Again despite getting paid an excess of $94,600.

The former President of the NFF and member of the Organizing Committee for FIFA expressed his disappointment in the Superstars absence at the event which held on Friday, 6th of October.

Davido, according to Amaju was paid $94,600 for his performance at the event and a chartered plane was arranged to convey him and his team to the state. He added that the payment has been made since April 6th, 2023.

Davido who was intended to be the headline act was replaced with Shallipopi.

Amaju Pinnick while speaking to the audience members expressed his utmost displeasure toward Davido while adding that the “Feel” crooner won’t be allowed to perform in Warri henceforth.

He accused Davido of being proud as he asserted that Burnaboy is a bigger artiste than the DMW boss.

Reacting to this, Davido said that no one can stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria.

Sharing a photo of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) logo which Amaju Pinnick headed, Davido stated that he should not be pushed into “talking”. He also said that the person throwing stones, lives in a glass house.

In a series of posts on his Snapchat, Davido continued to attack the former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr Pinnick. He said he wants to donate double of the money paid to him to any football charity organization.

According to the sports executive, Davido shouldn’t feel he’s “big” as Delta state has also contributed to the entertainment sector in Nigeria. He noted that Burna Boy is partly from Itsekiri in Delta State. He also pointed out that actor Richard Mofe-Damijo and comedian Alibaba are all from Delta state too.
