Chinese Man Arrested For Allegedly Pushing Down Abia Female Employee From Crane

A Chinese man, Gz Zhen, has been taken into custody by the Abia State Police Command for allegedly pushing her female employee, Ocheze Ogbonna, to death.

According to Chinaka, the command received information about the alleged murder of Ogbonna by his Chinese employer, swung into action, and arrested the suspect.

Zhen had reportedly made sexual advances to Ogbonna, who reportedly rejected his advances.

Ogbonna, a crane operator at Zhen’s Inner Galaxy company, was reportedly pushed down from a crane leading to her death.

An X user @IgboHistory&facts shared, “Ocheze Ogbonna, who works with Inner Galaxy Company in Umuahala-Obuzor, Abia state.

“Because she refused the sexual advances of her Chinese boss, he pushed her down from a crane where she works as an operator to her death.”

Also, @PIDOMNIGERIA wrote, “Miss Ocheze is a lively girl who was proud of her dignity in labour, by working as a crane operator at a Chinese company.

“Despite the stress, hassle and bustle of the job, Ocheze kept pushing. But her Chinese boss decided to murder her at work because she turned down his sexual advances towards her.”

Meanwhile, the PPRO, in an update on the incident, noted that an investigation was going on.

She said, “We got a report alleging that Mr. GZ ZHEN, through his actions, led to the death of one of his staff members by the name of Vivian Ocheze Munachi.

“The suspect has been arrested while an investigation is ongoing.”

Efforts made to get further details on the date the incident happened proved abortive as the PPRO could not be reached for further updates.
