A prominent Islamic leader in Ondo State, Alhaji Ibrahim Bodunde Oyinlade, has been kidnapped.
The influential Islamic leader who is the Chief Imam of Uso community, located in the Owo Local Government Area of the state was kidnapped around 3:00 pm, today, Saturday, June 17, 2023.
The circumstances surrounding the abduction remain unclear, leaving the community and authorities deeply concerned about Oyinlade’s safety
At present, the family of the Islamic cleric has confirmed that the kidnappers have contacted them.
However, no specific ransom demands have been made known to them as of when this report was filed.
